What Did It Cost? is a free game by Petna Labs, a project of Petna Ventures, Inc. There are no accounts and we don't ask for your name or email.
What is stored on your device
Your browser keeps your game progress so it works the next time you visit: today's results, which items and songs you've already seen today, the Daily 5 item you're answering (so reloading the page carries on where you were), your streak and scores, which decimal mark you use, and which version of the game you were given (typed answers or multiple choice). This stays in your browser's storage on your device. It is not sent to us, and it is not a cookie.
Records for earlier days (results, items and songs seen) are deleted automatically the next time you open the game. Your streak, scores, decimal mark and game version are kept until you clear your browser's site data, which erases everything.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites.
Links to other sites
Song links open Spotify, and share buttons open X, WhatsApp or your email app. Those services have their own privacy policies. Nothing from them loads on this page until you tap a link.
Ads
The game doesn't show real ads yet. Before it does, this page will be updated to explain how ads work and what choices you have.
